Our Mission.
The Bath County Arts Association is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the Arts for the benefit of all members of our local community now and in the future.
We believe that Art in all its many forms and expressions brings joy to the people it touches. To that end, BCAA dedicates its energy and resources to creating a vibrant arts presence here in Bath County, Virginia.
Who we are.
The Bath County Arts Association, Inc., was founded as a membership organization in 1965 with local residents uniting in a shared commitment to promote the Arts in our very special county. Membership is a statement of dedication to support our important work of sponsoring visual and performing arts programs, awarding scholarships to local students, and supplementing arts education in the Bath County schools.
We are an independent 501(c)(3) organization. We rely on the generous support of our members and friends who believe in our mission and share our vision and values. Your support makes it possible for us to promote the Arts in Bath County.
What we do.
The Bath County Arts Association awards scholarships to local students, sponsors visual and performing arts programs, and supplements art education in the Bath County Schools. This is made possible by the support of our members and sponsors with their generous donations, funds from the Bath County Board of Supervisors and the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and proceeds from the annual Bath County Art Show.
