Arts in Education Grants may support:

• Arts-related classroom projects and curricula

• Field trips involving the arts

• Artist residencies or workshops

• After-school or enrichment programs

• Supplies and materials for arts instruction

• Or other arts related projects

Past funded projects have included school band programs, student art exhibitions, dance classes, family literacy and art nights, and arts-integrated field trips.

At this time Education grants are only available to Bath County Schools, not home school programs or other agencies. Other groups are available to apply for community grants if they are sponsoring something open to the public.

You may apply for an Arts in Education Grant if you are:

• A teacher, employee or administrator requesting funding for a Bath County School arts related project.

Projects must serve Bath County students and have a clear educational and arts-based focus.

• Grant funding is available throughout the year

• Most funds are distributed at the beginning of the fall and spring terms

• Funding amounts vary based on project scope and available resources

All Arts in Education Grant applications are submitted online through a Google Form.

The application form includes:
