Community Grants support arts-related projects and events that:

• Engage the Bath County community

• Increase access to the arts

• Support local artists and arts organizations

• Foster arts education, cultural engagement, and community-building

You may apply for a BCAA Community Grant to promote the arts in Bath County if you are:

• A local organization

• A community organization or group that is seeking funds for arts-related events, programs, or projects in Bath County.

• An individual artist residing or working in Bath County

Projects must benefit Bath County residents and include a public-facing or community-focused component.

BCAA offers two types of Community Grants:

Primary Community Grants

• Award Range: $1,500 – $10,000

• Awarded: Twice per year

• Best for: Larger projects, festivals, multi-day programs, or significant community initiatives

Rolling Community Grants

• Award Range: Up to $1,500

• Awarded: Year-round

• Best for: Smaller projects, single events, supplies, or time-sensitive needs

Please note that submission dates for Primary Community Grants have changed for 2026:

• Round 1: Applications due January 15, 2026
  (Most funding is distributed in this round)

• Round 2: Applications due May 15, 2026

Rolling Grants (under $1,500) are accepted year-round.

Approved funds are typically awarded within 45 days of approval.

All Community Grant applications are submitted online through a Google Form.

• Links to download guidelines and additional materials
