IMPORTANT REMINDERS‍

• Submissions open August 4th and close September 20th at 11:59 PM. Submission fees are non-refundable, and submission does not guarantee acceptance into the show.

• This is an open medium, juried show. Artists are limited to a single submission, regardless of category.

• Submission fee is $20, non-refundable, whether or not the work is accepted.

• Work must not exceed 48"H x 48"W.

• Artists will be notified of their acceptance status no later than September 27th.

• The BEAR keeps 40% of all artwork sales to support Bath County Arts and BEAR programming. Artists should price their work to include this commission.

• Flat art must be wired to hang prior to arrival at the gallery. Textile pieces may be submitted with or without attached sleeves. Sculptural pieces must be accompanied by a dedicated pedestal or other appropriate staging.

• While we hope the prompt inspires you, work from the past 5 years may be submitted.

• All work must be submitted by the original artist(s).

• Artwork MUST be dropped off at The BEAR on Sunday, October 11th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

• Unsold artwork must be picked up unless other arrangements are made in advance. Artwork left beyond this time will be considered a donation to the Bath County Arts Association.

• All artwork submitted to the exhibit is available for the BEAR to use in promotional materials.

• All submitted work must be an original creation of the submitting artist. Work that is AI-generated, or substantially created using artificial intelligence tools, is not eligible for submission.
